Correx Floor Protection

What is Correx?

Correx is a robust and lightweight material made from high-impact polypropylene resin. It has a distinctive sandwich-like structure, with a corrugated middle layer nestled between two smooth plastic exteriors. This construction yields a multi-purpose material that is not only resilient but also recyclable.

Resistant to the elements and harsh substances like oils, solvents, and chemicals, Correx can be optimised with additional features such as anti-static, flame-retardant, or anti-corrosive properties, as required.

What is Correx protection?

For convenience and ease of application, Correx protection comes in a sheet format. The standard Correx sheet is 2mm thick, suitable for an array of protection needs. The thickness can be adjusted (up to 5mm) to enhance impact resistance.

The standard size sheet (1.2m x 2.4m) caters to most requirements and comes in easy-to-handle compact rolls. These are readily available from Trio Plus Distribution, ensuring prompt, undamaged delivery.

Why Choose Correx?

Correx is versatile, ideal for protecting floors and a wide range of surfaces. The material is not only sturdy and lightweight, but it's also easy to shape and adapt: fold, place, cut, and secure in position with gaffer or duct tape.

Its durability allows for repeated use, even reshaping as necessary. Waterproof and chemical resistant, Correx withstands the test of time and the elements. Its resilience and impact resistance far outweigh its light appearance.

Typical Uses for Correx Protection

While Correx is commonly used for floor protection, it is adaptable for safeguarding any type of surface. It's a staple during building, renovation, and reconstruction projects, protecting surfaces from wear and tear associated with moving heavy items.

Its versatile nature extends its application from construction sites to sign-writing, model aircraft assembly, pet cage creation, and reusable packaging.

Customisable options are available for size, thickness, and special additives. We also offer overprinting services with your company details (min order 500 sheets).
